I was born in Liberia, West Africa. As a teen, my desire for fashion came from my Mom - who has a very tasteful and unique fashion sense. I remember my mother designing her clothes and working with her tailors to bring her creations to life. 

As I entered young adulthood, I developed a great sense of style. The first impression people had of me was of a person working in the fashion industry; although I was working in the financial industry. 

I decided to follow my passion about 10 years ago, while maintaining a full-time job. I started off by working with 3 basic African print blouse designs and matching them up with jeans, skirts, etc. to create a unique style. What I like best about designing is the total finished look once it all comes together (clothes, accessories).

I have expanded and added other items since (pants, skirts, dresses) and accessories to my brand JaCha Trends African clothing by KroCia. My collection of ready to wear and customized items are very affordable. I pride myself in analyzing a clients' style goals and achieving them with their look. I work hard to make my fashion chic, versatile and effortlessly breath-taking.

I work with bold and exotic African print fabrics to create my designs. I have participated in several fashion shows including, but not limited to, 2018 Livingstone College's Homecoming Fashion Show, Liberia Independence Day Celebration, and the Juneteenth Celebration Fashion show.

I enjoy pursuing my passion and purpose for helping people feel and look good. My consulting firm, KroCia LLC image branding/wardrobe consulting of which JaCha Trends African clothing is a division, prides itself in walking clients through the process of developing their unique look for business and personal wardrobes.
